If your proxy server needs you to authenticate using a login/password then you cannot use it directly (atleast I don't know). One workaround is that create a local proxy which will tunnel these connections through your company proxy with authentication. There are several such clients, e.g., http://www.proxomitron.info/ Then your proxy for this will be 127.0.0.1:port Michael, I am very sorry that I forgot to add this.
